Seth Barnes (he/him) is a Wisconsin-born, Brooklyn-based playwright with a BFA in Acting and a Minor in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. As a writer, he is fascinated by the elemental, rhythmic nature of fable, archetype, and genre, and finds great satisfaction in turning those concepts on their heads. 

Seth’s plays have been workshopped with Imaginarium Theatre Co. and Tier5 Productions, and produced with The Chain Theatre, NJ Stageworks, and The Players Theatre. Most recently, he made his full-length debut with Stupid Boring Straight People at The Players Theatre. He is currently a member of Purple Light Production’s Artist Palette.
